The Sanctuary Café

Our café sits within the stone carved arches of this beautiful church, opened in 2014 alongside our other services. Our profits go towards our charity. See what we have on offer below.

Homemade Cakes

We bake our own delicious cakes, in-house each day; including our famous Banana Cake, Oreo Brownie, Orange Cake and Chocolate Mud Cake. We have a selection of vegan, gluten free and dairy free treats too! Unsure what’s best? Have a chat with our friendly staff and they can tell you what’s available.

If you enjoyed our cakes, why not try making them yourself? See our recipe videos below

We have teamed up with Liberty Coffee who roast our own coffee blend, The Sanctuary Café house blend. Can’t wait until your next visit? Buy some here . We serve all the usual coffees and have a selection of non-dairy milk available.

We choose Clipper Tea - they believe that every cup of tea counts and so do we! Every cup you drink means that both of us are able to do the good stuff we need to support people in our community and the planet. All their our products are made with pure, natural ingredients and a clear conscience. We have quite the selection; English Breakfast, Lemon & Ginger, Earl grey, Mint, Redbush, Wildberry, Chamomile, Green Tea, Red fruits and Chai

We have an alcohol licence, so if you wish to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine over lunch, be our guest. We also sell cider and prosecco!

Simple Bites

We’re focussing on our charity and other services, so have selected to have fresh sandwiches, pastas and salads delivered to us – rather than making them ourselves. We have a selection of snacks and cold drinks and offer lunch deals for both adults and children.

Take away options are available if you need to dash off or you can linger on our comfortable sofas, with free Wi-Fi and plenty of space for buggies for those who have young children.
